Undercover secure parking for bikes or motorbikes and ample parking for cars. Several covered terraces at the front and back of the villa to enable you to enjoy the sun and shade all day long. Come back and relax in the hammock after a day of sightseeing. 2 spacious and bright bedrooms, with tea and coffee making facilities. Both rooms overlook the garden and pool. 1 king size bedroom and 1 double bedroom, with an interconnecting shower room & toilet. Basic toiletries are provided. In the Minervois / Corbieres wine region, what better than to enjoy visiting the vineyards or taking an organised wine tour. Only 4km to the Lac de Jouarres, which is perfect for water sports enthusiasts and walkers alike. Only 2km from the Canal du Midi UNESCO heritage site, ideal for exploring, walking and cycling. There are organised boat trips during the season on the canal, where you meander along and experience going though a lock or 2. We are equal distance from Narbonne and Carcassonne (30km) both cities offer interesting architecture and cathedrals and of course the Cite at Carcassonne which is a UNESCO world heritage site. There are many beautiful villages like Minerve and Lagrasse to visit. Lovely restaurants everywhere. There are many Château’s and Abbey’s too. On a very hot day the caves at Cabrespine offer cool respite. If you fancy a round of golf there is a course 25km away at Carcassonne. With kayaking, swimming in the lakes and the Mediterranean beaches (including naturist beaches) nearby, there is lots to do for everyone.
