We are situated in the quaint town of Clermont L'herault. While the house, a converted Moulin, enjoys the peace and quiet of the country side, a swimming pool set in it's own grounds and a Sun terrace with views of the surrounding valley. We offer 2 brand new self contained studio apartments, each with fitted kitchenette and en-suite bathroom. Both apartment's can sleep a maximum of 2 people. Guest have there own private entrance hall, and also have exclusive use of our swimming-pool between 10am-1pm and 5-8pm, there is also a large sun terrace available for guest to use.
Hi I'm Tracy we are an English, Norwegian family with two adult daughters who grew up in France and speak fluent French, so that's 3 languages covered !! Per and I met while working on the cruise ships in the 80's he as a Navigation officer and me as a Croupier ....happy days having fun following the sun around the world.... We love to host parties ...cook, enjoy good food and wine and meet new people. Per enjoys walking and cycling ( as do I sometimes !! ) we often pinch ourselves while walking the dogs around Lac du Salagou as it's so beautiful and peaceful, and on our doorstep. I love making the home cozy and working in the garden. We look forward to welcoming you to our home .
We are a less than 5 minute drive or 15 minute stroll into Clermont and all it has to offer, such as a vibrant market on Wednesday morning which appeals to many from the local villages who are keen to indulge in the fresh locally produced fruit, vegetables, cheeses, wines and honey along with great value fashions. There is a lively atmosphere in the market square in the bustling bars and restaurants, of which there is a very good selection for casual or more refined dining. We are very close to the beautiful red hills of Lac du Salagou, which can be enjoyed by driving, hiking, bicycling, fishing, sailing or swimming or simply sitting and being mesmerized by the spectacular views. Montpellier can be accessed very easily via the auto route A75, around 30 mins. The impressive medieval village of St Guillem le Dessert voted one of the Plus Beaux Villages de France is on our doorstep, For the more active we have the wonderful Gorge de l'herault which can be traversed by canoe making a great day out and the equally exciting Canal du Midi to be enjoyed by boat or bicycle.
