Pro: The apartment is situated down a quiet road off the main road surrounded by all the main interests in Bordeaux. A red door, we were greeted by a friendly Veronique who showed us up three flights of stairs into a cosy, bijoux apartment. Clean, simple and light, the apartment has modern kitchen gadgetry along with a sizeable tv and free WiFi. There is also a table to dine at if you wish. Veronique also kindly left a bottle of wine and coffee pods and showering amenities if you didn’t pack your own. The bedroom is very spacious and a comfy double bed with a built in wardrobe is more than plenty space. The window also has a Juliette balcony overlooking the street. The bathroom is connected to the bedroom and has a nice shower. The place is situated inbetween all the main sites of interest and there’s small bars and eateries near by in picturesque squares. There’s a good supermarket literally a stones throw and if you prefer something more indulgent for breakfast there’s a great boulangerie in Saint Michel’s square that bakes everything the fat kid inside you could ever want, it also helps the waistline that the apartment has three flight of stairs after a trip here! Great host, great place, highly recommend for an artsy European getaway that doesn’t have the hustle of Paris but is interesting enough.

Pro: The location of the apartment is very central, close to all the restaurants with supermarkets and bakeries news by. The host is also very friendly and very welcoming. Lovely stay!

Pro: The location is very central for getting around the city. Lots of fantastic restaurants close by!

Contre: Not an issue for us but the stairs are very steep for anyone with mobility problems. The seafood restaurant downstairs brings an interesting aroma to the landing but wasn’t an issue within the apartment itself.

Pro: Die Lage spitze.

Contre: Hatte mir für das Geld irgendwie mehr erwartet! Für zwei Leute ist es gut. Aber zu dritt ist es für denjenigen der in der Küche auf dem Sofa schläft nicht ganz so angenehm, da irgendwelche Geräte die Nacht über liefen...was auch immer. Und die Wohnung zu dritt auch sehr eng ist.

Pro: Appartement dans le centre du vieux Bordeaux. Tout près de la place du miroir d'eau. Très bien situé, calme. Beaucoup des restaurants aux alentours. Accueil très chaleureux de la propriétaire, avec une bouteille de Bordeaux. Garage a disposition pour la moto. Rendu des clés avec boite spécial. Machine à laver dans la salle de Bain. Petit appartement bien agencé, simple et pratique. Attention comme indiqué 3 ème étage sans ascenceur.

Pro: Lovely host ... really central

Contre: Was a bit worried about fire exits if there was a problem (which obviously there wasn’t )

Pro: The host was helpful and gave us great recommendations for where to eat locally.

Contre: Due to its central position it was noisy if you had the windows open when the restaurant staff came out. The air con helped cut this out.

Pro: The location was fantastic, the host was very friendly, helpful and accommodating
