This is Maison Boulvern, beautifully situated in the centre of the Finistère, a Bed & Breakfast in a rural setting surrounded by woods, between Menez-Hom and the impressive bays of Douarnenez. Here rule quiet and space. Whether you stay for a weekend or a week there are plenty trips and sight-seeings to make your holiday unforgettable. Maison Boulvern means freedom, authenticity and modernity. You can go back to nature and the old Breton culture meanwhile enjoying present-day comfort. In Maison Boulvern are four light, modern and comfortably furnished guest rooms on the first floor each with a bathroom. The views are splendid, one side showing the countryside, the other our nice garden. The drawing room is for the guests. Here you can meet, eat or just sit and relax, being on your own. The same goes for our garden where you can enjoy the quiet and the rural charm. This is the place where children can play and explore. We serve breakfast. Bread from the best local baker, fruit, vegetables, cheese and meat from local producers, organically grown when possible.
The house is situated in a rural area close to different beaches and only 30 minutes from Crozon, Quimper and Douarnenez. There is a lot to do in the surroundings. You can of course visit our tranquil beaches or go on a tour at sea to see the wildlife. Locronan, a middle ages small town with its picturesque sightings is worth a visit. Crepes pancakes and seafood restaurant can be found al over this area. If you want to hike, you can follow the famous GR34 trail. Indulge yourself in local history by visiting special enchanted places like the forrest of Heulgoat. From the top of the Menez-Hom you can see all of our surroundings on a beautiful day. For a night out or some shopping you can go to Quimper with it's historic city centre to wander.
