Bienvenue! We are very excited to welcome you to Le Cerisier Anglais. After living in the busy and fast paced city of Paris, myself and my wife decided to move across country to Nantes. We wanted to find a little peace of countryside paradise to call our own. We moved into the property in April 2017, since then we have worked hard to convert a part of the barn into Les Poiriers Gîte. Our goal is to help holiday makers relax and unwind from there busy everyday life and to take in all the wonderful features Western France has to offer.
Le Cerisier Anglais is situated in Western France, in the beautiful countryside surrounded by vineyards. 35 min from beaches, 40 min from centre of Nantes. Quiet and Calm. Only a five minute drive to local supermarket and village. The Gîte is newly refurbished with a private garden and eating area. South facing so you get all the benefits of the summer sun . The garden also has apple and pear trees meaning guests can pick there own fruit.
Surrounded by farm land, the neighbourhood is quiet. The local village has a lovely boulangerie and shop. A small 'Tabac' for coffee, drinks and newspapers. A wonderful park for walking is only a five minute drive away. A five minute walk along the road is a bio farm that has a small market every Saturday.
