Informations sur l'hôte
Located in the beautiful medieval village of Ségur le Château (les plus beaux village) officially one of the most beautiful villages of France, our property, a former wheelwrights, (Les Charrons) offers a spacious and comfortable double room with a private bathroom all contained within a private area of the property. The bathroom has a large double shower. Please note, the living accommodation is situated on the 1st floor and only accessible by an external staircase and is therefore unfortunately unsuitable for guests with disabilities. Conveniently located to the A20 motorway, 45km from Limoges and 35km from Brive, both of which have airports served from the U.K. Please note our two rescue dogs Pippin and Milo live at the property.
Karen and Dean look forward to welcoming their guests to their stone property located in the Correze, a beautiful and relatively undiscovered part of France. Located close to the border with the Dordogne and Haute-Vienne, your hosts moved from the U.K. permanently in 2017 after purchasing the property in 2010 and falling in love with the house and village while on holiday. Huge F1 fans we have travelled to a number of circuits around the world. As dog lovers who have two rescue dogs living at the property we enjoy many marvellous walks in the village and nearby. Our french is far from fluent, however we practice hard and hope our french speaking guests will forgive our language limitations. The garden is available for use by guests providing they are happy to share with the owners and our 2 rescue dogs, Milo and Pippin. It is only fair to point out the currently the television in the room only receives u.k. channels.
A number of local attractions include two village restaurants (open during late spring and summer) and a number of special events throughout the season including live music and farmers markets on the village green, vintage car rallies, and horse events focused in Pompadour (the city of horses) with its impressive Chateau racecourse and equestrian events.
