Large balcony overlooking the beautiful mountains of the Portes du Soleil Ski area. Ski locker and garage for car included, apartment is 5 minutes from the Chatel ski lifts, and is on the ski bus route between Chatel and Le Linga. We are Ian and Caroline Wilson, we live in Norwich in England, and purchased this apartment brand new in Chatel in 2017. We have been to the Portes du Soleil many times and fell in love with Chatel as it is a traditional village and very French, whilst also one of the most accessible resorts from England. We have 2 young children (Thomas and Caitlin) who love skiing and love travelling to France.
We wanted a spacious apartment and were set on the idea of Chatel, so when this one came up we jumped at the chance. The balcony really is beautiful and the bathrooms are huge and well finished. The property is well positioned in the village, offering easy access to the slopes. Our view is not over-looked and we have a stream running just alongside our balcony, which is very relaxing! Unspoilt scenery, not over-looked, lots of space, many practicalities. Chatel is beautiful - this is a great and cost effective way to see it! ** Please note** Following feedback about the local agents we used, we now have a much improved local host appointed from Summer 2020.
