We are very relaxed here and the house/gardens are definately a work in progress...organic....low impact.....peaceful....relatively self sufficient you are welcome to wander the 6 hectares of meadow/woodland or just relax in the deckchairs....

I trained as a fine artist in the u.k ...love re cycling and the challenge of making something aesthetically pleasing from discarded things....creativity runs through all that we do here from the potager to the dining room....but we are not finished with many more projects under development.....

Here in la brenne it is all about nature....very beautiful and peaceful....the parc regional is 15 minutes drive with over a 1,000 lakes to discover...cycling, walking, bird watching all popular pastimes....the maison du parc at Rosnay is a must for detailed information about the area....chateau guilliaume is 10 minutes walk from le domaine and as the birthplace of Eleanor of Aquitaine worth a visit.....les heriolles monthly market is on the 29th ..chez Leon in prissac is a great place to eat.....the rest you can discover for yourself!
