Lalande-Laborie is situated on a hill and surrounded by gardens, an orchard and has beautiful views accross the valley. The house has 4 bedrooms, which are tastefully decorated, a kitchen which has all modern amenities, a dining room and living room. The terrace is overlooking the heated pool and has beautiful views and a perfect place to drink a glass of wine. A guest house for 2 guests has been added as well and is just next to the swimming pool. We can accomodate 10 adults and two children at Laborie. A spa building has recently been built, with sauna, jacuzzi, hamman, massage room, relaxing room and fitness room. A natural pond surrounds the building. An idyllic spot to spend some time!! We are quite well situated as we are close to all the beautiful known spots to visit, such as Lascaux, Sarlat, Perigueux and many others and we are close to the A89.
20 Years ago my husband and I first came to this beautiful region and started to renovate the first house on the property. Over the years we have been renovating the other houses on the domain and we were happy we could buy the land of our neighbour in order to restore Lalande-Laborie, a beautiful 'Maison de Maitre with a lot of land, which was in complete disorder. Slowly we have been creating beautiful gardens and we are still in the process of restoring some buildings and adding stables for our horses.
The Dordogne is one of France most beautiful regions, with many castles, medieval villages, a beautiful country side, where you can horse ride, cycle and have nice long walks. The rivers Vezere and the Dordogne are near by, where you can enjoy canoeing. There are climbing facilities nearby and gastronomically there are many restaurants to enjoy.
