Informations sur l'hôte
La Bastide du Roy Rene was constructed by King René of Anjou and his wife Queen Jeanne de Laval as their country home in 1472 (before America was discovered!). Transformed through the ages into an infirmary, an agricultural warehouse, a tannery... La Bastide found its true calling in the 1990's becoming an exceptional hotel residence. Registered as a historic monument, today it welcomes tourists, business women and men, athletes, or simply lovers of Provence.
La Bastide proposes 65 studios and apartments accommodating from 1 to 4 persons. Each is equipped with a kitchen, full bathroom and TV. Linen is provided.
On the banks of the Arc river, near the Sainte Victoire Mountain and very close to the city center of Aix-en-Provence, the Bastide du Roy René incites its guests to take full advantage of the region. A neighboring sports complex enables visitors to participate in numerous activities: tennis, climbing, jogging, hiking, pétanque.... At the heart of this beautiful Bastide, guests may relax under the shade of centenary plane trees or to the gentle sounds of fountains.
