The gite is part of a barn conversion; the owners are resident in the main building, and, as well as offering you a warm welcome, should be available to ensure that your stay is problem-free. Catered all inclusive art weeks will soon be available during non peak dates and will include room and board, a series of activities to ensure you get the best of visiting this perigordine region through the food, sites, antiquités & brocantes whilst you improve in your painting/drawing skills surrounded by the muses and shades of the impressionists.

The whole of the Dordogne is within visiting distance. The Gite in its safe rural setting invites visitors to discover the surroundings through the many walking and bicycle paths. There is a well provisioned "epicerie" 2 kilometres away in the near by town of Saint Sulpice d'Excideuil. Well known larger supermarkets and other facilities can be found in the neighbouring towns of Thiviers and Excideuil, each of them being about 8 kilometres away from us. The very well known prehistoric site of Lascaux is only about an hour away. The area always proposes a choice of communal activities, being the various markets, banquets or the many "vide greniers or brocantes" . Our Gite is easy to access by plane, train or car.
