L‘Ecurie is situated in the peaceful hamlet of Ecorsaint (approx 45 minutes west of Dijon) in the heart of the Burgundian countryside. There are no shops or cafes in the hamlet but both are just a 10 minute drive away. L'Ecurie has been transformed from three barns into a lovely home which comfortably sleeps 8.

Our villas provide an ideal, peaceful base guaranteed to give you maximum comfort & enable you to experience & explore the beautiful region of Burgundy. Burgundy is known for its wealth of cultural activities, museums, chateaux and medieval villages, as well as its gastronomic delights and excellent wines produced in the area. Each villa offers a stunning picturesque location, heated outdoor swimming pool available in the summer months, is child and pet friendly and can either be rented individually or as a whole package making an ideal venue for weddings or family holidays.

ALISE SAINTE REINE / MUSEOPARC This famous fortified town was the scene of the Gauls last stand against Caesar. Take a walk up the hill to see the statue of Vercingétorix overlooking the valley below. The town offers a Roman archeological site, a museum, a restaurant 'Le Cheval Blanc' and a cafe. (10 min drive). THE BURGUNDY CANAL Linking up the the Yonne and Saône rivers, the Burgundy canal first flows through the valley of the Armançon and makes its way through a 3 300 long canal tunnel near Pouilly-en-Auxois before joining the Saône at Saint-Jean-de-Losne. Departure bases with boat rental berths include Brienon-sur-Armançon, Tonnerre, Vénarey-les-Laumes, Pouilly-en-Auxois, Saint-Florentin and Saint-Jean-de-Losne. BURGUNDY VINEYARDS No visit to Burgundy can be complete without seeing some of the most famous vineyards in the world. The "route des Grands Crus" (roughly, "road of the fine wines") is the name of a tourist route situated in the south of the region. DIJON The capital of Burgundy is full of charm and history. Spend a day wandering around the 16th century streets or take the Owl's Trail around the city (the Office de Tourisme will start you on your way).
