Charming house, fully renovated in 2020 and turned into a cosy holiday home. Fully equipped (including 3 complimentary bikes!) and perfectly located between the beaches La Torche / Pors Carn and Ster 2 km away. A perfect spot for surfers and beach lovers, combining the famous surfbeach La Torche with the calm family beaches of Ster and Guilvinec. The location is also great for hikers,with the famous hiking trail GR34 along the coast of Brittany only a couple of kms away.
We are a French-Swedish couple enjoying our life between Paris and Brittany. We both work in the tourism industry and love to welcome and meet friends and citizens of the world! The house is connected to our private home and on the same land. However, it has been designed to give you complete privacy both via your own entrance and through a private garden for your use only, ensuring your privacy and independence. We will happily make ourseleves availble should you have anyquestions or need advice on the region whenever possible.
Penmarch is the southwest most township of Pays Bigouden, at the southern end of the Bay of Audierne. It combines small fishing villages into a larger commune, such as Kerity, St Guenole and St Pierre. Lighthouse of Eckmühl : 3 km Beach Pors Carn: 2.5 Pointe de La Torche: 3 km Beach Steir: 2.5 km Port of Kerity: 2.5 km A supermarket, bakery and pharmacy are all located within walking distance, less than 1 km from the house. If you are arriving from Paris or any other part of France by train, Quimper train station is located 30kms away, and we would be more than happy to arrange a pickup for you. Note that public transport in this region is not well developed and a car is recomended to discover the area. We will provide 3 complementary bicycles for your use during your stay so you can access the beaches and surrounding villages and ports.
