Chalet Le Lapye is a large 5 bedroom chalet, three of which have en-suites. There is also a separate bathroom and separate WC. The chalet has a large kitchen, a dining table suitable for up to 12 and a log fire. Located on the Chavannes Road,it has wonderful views over the village. You can usually ski back to within a few metres of the chalet and the free Navette bus stop is about 50 metres away. Living area and kitchen The living area and kitchen are on the middle floor. The large living area has a lot of comfortable seating, a large fireplace, television and Wi Fi. The dining table seats 12 in comfort. The kitchen is very well equipped with oven, hob, microwave, freezer, etc. There is a large sunny balcony off the main living area. There is also a bathroom and separate WC on the middle floor. Balcony Outside there is a balcony with table and seating - wonderful views over the valley. Bedrooms & Bathrooms Bedroom 1 - Two single beds. En suite shower and WC. Les Gets has won an award, 4 times, as the worlds best family ski resort. It is a charming traditional resort dating back to the 13th century. The resort also is the venu, in the summer, for the world downhill mountain bike championships. Les Gets also has some great skiing areas for those who want something more adventurous, it is part of the Portes du Soleil, the largest ski areas in Europe with some 640km piste. The main benefits of Les Gets for skiing are: • Quick and easy access to the slopes, many chalets are ski in/ski out to within a few metres. • With a large number of lifts, queues are usually short • Les Gets has grass as the base, not rocks, so with just 30cm snow you can have great skiing. • It is unusual for pistes to be closed in Les Gets, it does not suffer from high winds, or difficult weather and also with much of the slopes being within the tree lines, the pistes are more protected. • Prices are very reasonable in the resort
