As soon as we found Residence du Brevent, we knew it was special. With fantastic views of Mont Blanc and Chamonix town, the apartment was just what we were looking for. We had long been unable to find really good quality accommodation so close to the town centre and so close to the lift. The apartment needed quite a bit of work: new bathrooms, a new kitchen, and we ended up doing up everything to give us a real home from home. We spend as much time as possible in Chamonix and love welcoming guests and hope they appreciate everything Residence du Brevent - its quiet position and yet so close to all the facilities, as well as the care and attention we have put into the renovation of the apartment - as much as we do! With the free secure parking, it is also so easy to get around to the whole of the Chamonix valley: Argentiere is just 10 minutes drive away for those sunny powder days, Le Tour is a further 5 minutes drive which is great also in the summer and of course fabulous family friendly Les Houches, which is also only 10 minutes drive too, plus a further 15 minutes over to Courmayeur in Italy or over to prestigious Megeve - there is so much to see and do!

We love skiing and have had many many trips away skiing - both before and after children! We always found there was a compromise: property not good enough but great location, or a fantastic place to stay but just too far from the lifts or any facilities... so we fell in love with Chamonix, which is open all year and has so much to offer, and also with Residence du Brevent, which ticks so many boxes! We also love the cycling and hiking in the summer, plus the fabulous swimming at the open air Richard Bozen Olympic sized swimming pool with views of Mont Blanc as well as at Lac Passy, just a 15 minute drive away. The local horseriding, white water rafting and climbing are all brilliant too!

We would thoroughly recommend some fantastic restaurants in Chamonix - Cap Horn, Munchies in Rue du Moulin and La Delice over in Les Houches are our favourites! Chamonix is a proper working town, so it is a far cry from some of the smaller ski resorts which may offer great skiing but precious little else... it's impossible to be bored in Chamonix and even for non skiers there is plenty to do!
